Ew I wish this didn't look like crap when I scanned it. It looks pretty awesome in real life. Yeah... I drew it on a piece of cardboard I got from a box lid that I cut off and took home from work.
I think he gets pointier every time I draw him :]
Done over a couple weeks of free time with a 005 micron, random ballpoint pens, and a chalk pencil.
That's insane. How do you have patience for this? Such detail, and such awesome shading. And yeah, cardboard is fun to draw on, but scanners tend to mangle even plain old paper so it's not like it had much of a chance with cardboard.
He's made of awesome. So are you. !

bwahaha pointy is good though. that much easier to poke someone in the eye
your attention to detail is so amazing, i cant even wrap my head around it. and it gets better and better everytime i see something you've uploaded. the way you shade/crosshatch/etc makes your images seem so alive. and using the chalk pen really brings out the depth in this guy. im so drawn to the rib cage. not sure why, but it looks so badass.
upload moar plz?

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

How do I have the patience? Honestly, I ask myself the same question a hundred times while I'm drawing...
I get frustrated with it quite often, and really, this took me a lot longer than it should have because I kept putting off doing the tail.
I have a love-hate relationship with my tedious detailing; I both enjoy and dread working on things this demanding!
Procrastination is behind all great works. Or so I tell myself.
